The Fellowship Newsletter–December 2011
From Our President

Dear Friends,
It is hard to believe we have already braved our first snowstorm of the season and now have weather that feels more like September than November.  I am writing with reminders on the upcoming events scheduled in the next few weeks, both offered by the Fellowship and also within the larger Stamford Jewish community.

Our next Adult Ed will be held on Wednesday, November 30 at 7:30pm.  Details to follow.

We will be making sandwiches for the New Covenant House Soup Kitchen on Wednesday, Nov. 30. For more info contact, please Ele Lowenthal at elowen9934@aol.com.

Also, please mark your calendars to attend our Chanukah celebration, which is scheduled for Friday, December 16 at 6:30pm at the Friends Meeting House.

All the Best,

Phil

Help End Local Hunger – Become a “Food Rescuer!”

Community Plates, a local non-profit dedicated to alleviating hunger in communities all across America, has a huge opportunity – if it can increase its volunteer base. You can help. If  you have a set of wheels (SUV’s work best) and an hour a week, you can help transform the face of hunger.

If you can help, please contact Kevin Mullins. He’ll be in touch and send you the info you need, including location, instructions and contact information.
